Saw Dr A today

Hello everyone, I had to make an emergency trip to Dr Aslam today, my G-tube(feeding) was starting to get infected. He decided to go ahead and pull it since I was scheduled to have it done on Friday anyway. Gotta tell yah it did sting some, but I lived thru it..lol..now don't have to see him again till Dec. WOW!! seems like a long time to go, but he must think I am doing okay. Only lost 2# this week, but guess that isn't too bad since I have not been able to get to do any exercise. Makes a total lose of 27# lost 30 days! My DH is in hospital once again. Had to have him taken Sunday afternoon by ambulance. He is still not able to eat or drink and the doctors are very concernd. Have been doing lots of test and had to even give him some plattelets yesterday. His stomach is not working and if they can not get him any nurishment by moutha nd keep it down may have to do a feeding tube. I pray they do not, but if it is necessary then so be it! paula i am glad that you are doing better i have been concerned about you .. i hope dh is getting better ... keep us posted on how you both are ..i am now 5.5 months out and down 61 pounds it feels so good .. wishing you the best keep me posted and call me if you need anything debby 200/139/115? i hope

Hi Paula! Glad to hear you finally got the feeding tube out! That's great about not seeing Dr A until December. I just got back from a fishing trip in Northern Ontario for a week, so I've been out of the net and just saw your message tonight. Your DH will be in my prayers. Judy
