Pregnant and Scared

Hey Everyone....Looking for people who have been in my situation or know of others in my situation... I am almost a year out of surgery and ooops I am 2 months pregnant!!! I was taking Birth Control Pills, but my obgyn thinks that because of the weight loss the birth control pills were effected..I had an ultra sound and everything seems ok right now. Just think that I would feel better if I could talk to others who have been through this too.. It is awful wondering everyday if i have eaten enough food for the baby to get what it needs.. Any replys welcome...Stacey

Stacey, Congrats on your new bundle of joy!! What surgery have you had?? I can tell you that my best friend had Lap Band and 10 months later found out she was pregnant. Her pregnancy has gone great and she is due to deliver in 7 weeks. The baby is healthy and growing like a little weed. The surgeon removed some of her fill from her band to allow for the increased food needs but did not remove it all so she is still limited in what she can eat. Do not worry!! The first thing you need to do is let your surgeon know that you are pregnant. Make sure that everything you put in your mouth is of the highest quality nutrients you can eat and let nature and God work their magic. Babies are 's from heaven. Enjoy this time as your baby grows. Stacey, congratulations!! I can Understand why you are scared but I'm sure as long as your doctor monitor you during the next 7 months you and the baby will be just fine. Heidi must be excited, I work with her. Jennifer
