Now what???

Ive been reading some posts lately talking about Dr. Aslam not practicing in the future...... Does anyone know of any other LapBand surgeon in Maine?!?!?! I am finally at the point of starting my journey to losing and now this happens!!!! Very dicouraging.......... Thanks much, Lynn

Lynn, I don't know how far you want to travel, but Dr. Toder in Bangor does LapBand. She performed my surgery, but I had Lap RNY surgery. If you want any more info, feel free to email me through the email on my profile. Jill

Lynn...I just heard about Dr. Aslam. He did my RNY in Jan 2003. Anyway, Dr McKee in Augusta also does the Lap Band.

Pammie....I haven't talked to you in forever!!!! You look beautiful!! I should give you a call. There is a lot I could catch you up on. It has been quite a year! And to think it is only June! My weight loss has pretty much stopped. I lose a pound and then gain a pound so I think this is where I was meant to be. Miss you! Missy

Lynn, Dr. Michelle Toder at EMMC does the lap band. She did mine last Thursday and I am sooooo glad I chose her and the EMMC facility. They were absolutely wonderful!!!! It was over a 2 hour drive for me each time I had to visit, but WELL worth the trip! Hope you find the Dr. that works for you Shannon

Ha Lynn I'm in Surry Maine between Ellsworth and BlueHill, I go to the Weight Lose Program in Bangor out of EMMC hospital. My surgeon is Dr.Donald Clough but he doesn't do Lap bands. However, Dr.Michelle Toder who works with EMMC Weight Lose Program does do Lap Bands, but she dosen't accept Medicare or Mainecare insurance.
