Where is everyone???

Has everyone already lost so much that you can not see to post? Or am I just not seeing it cause you have lost so much after your WLS? I am counting the days till I can join you all on the losers side of life!! Exactly 2 weeks from today!!WOOHOO!! ing for joy! I go to see Dr. A on the 31st for my physical, don't think I have lost much weight or any for that matter since I first started the process. Hope he doesn't hold that against me and cancel my WLS How did the rest of you do on losing weight before your WLS? Let me hear from some of you so that I know I am not the only one here. Paula

Hey Paula! Just been lurking mostly lately. Tonight i'm just finishing up on my pre-op stuff before tomorrow. Haven't minded the liquids because I've been so busy but it finally caught up with me. Just a couple drinks for the day and now the stomach is churning with these meds. Can't wait til tomorrow when I'll finally be on the losing side!!! I'm the first surgery in the morning...reporting in at 6 am and surgery at 7:30. Take care! Judy

Hello Paula Nice to meet you I am fairly new to the site, I have my pre-op education class and support group meeting on June, 8th. At that time I will be given three appointments to see a dietitian, psychologist and physical therapist. Once completed a report will be made and I will be called in to see the surgeon. Who will decide if I am an appropriate candidate. It is driving me crazy all the dang hops I have to jump through to get this surgery done, but I am willing to do whatever they ask of me at this point. What can a gal do? But keep my chin up and follow through as well and continue to pray to God that by summers end I will be given a date for surgery. Way To Go!!! on your two weeks to go. I can not wait until I can say the same. I'm just like you waiting and waiting to become a loser, LOL Funny how that is a good thing in here. Also, what is WLS mean? Is that the band? I will be having the Gastric Bypass surgery done, which I know is much different for the band. By the way I'm from Surry Maine, next to Ellsworth. Are you near me?
