Hello to everyone in Maine

Hi TO all my fellow mainers I would like to introduce myself. My name is Pam and I am just getting started on my journey with WLS. I have been in the consideration and research phase for quite sometime and now have found myself a great surgical team I am working with in Boston. I look forward to getting advice and guidance from all of you and being able to support all of you as I learn along the way too. Have a great day !!!

Welcome Pam ! My name is Alison and I am going in for my surgery at Maine Med this Wednesday. I can tell you that it is definately an interesting journey; you'll meet great people, make strong commitments to youself and the process and learn a lot ! It may seem like a long long trek, but it will go by quickly and before you know it, you;ll be me ! Good luck - please email me if I can answer any questions for you ... the doctors are great but I think they sometimes get routine in their explanations and it helps to hear from a real patient. take care ....a

Hello Pam, Great that you are researching WLS. I too did some research for several months before I made my 1st call for an appointment with the DR. Now that you have found the surgical team for you; congratulations and I wish you a speedy and successful journey to the losers side on a new life! Paula
