Life is good!!
I started my pre-op gastric bypass journey back in Dec. I knew it would be a long road but like all things I was determinded to chip away at it until I would achive the results I was looking for. And that was to be healthy again. So I went to my first meeting and with packet in hand I met my surgeon and started plug`gin away at all the pre-op appointments. I stopped smoking (yeah!!) stopped drinking coffee and started buying food and practiceing my portion control and now it seems like 2nd nature. I`m pretty sure I`ll have my surgery by August for my Doctors nurse has hinted at it so I`m very excited! I joined a support group and a friend told me about this one also so here I am! i`m VERY interested in the exchange cloth idea for I have a bunch of dresses I bought off E-Bay and never even wore!!! Thanks

WAY TO GO SHERYL! you are on your way to a new life. Just remember one baby step at a time and soon you will be having that WLS. Maybe we should start a new group here in Maine for the clothing exchange idea...what does everyone think? We could do something like meet in Augusta at the hospital and have a little meet up of anyone that is either pre-op or post op and would like to exchange clothing.
