I called to see if my doctor sent them a referral at Maine Medical Center. He did and in about 2 weeks I'll get the packet of papers to start on my wonderful adventure.

Cool!! I'm just a little bit ahead of you. I've got my first appointment with the Maine Medical Bariatric Center the end of the month. My surgeon will be Dr. Renee Wolfe. I think I waited about a month after I got my packet of papers. It is exciting. Good luck on your journey. I hope it is a smooth one
