Hi Mainereds, I am one month post op. and Feeling great. 246/219 Ok I live in Presque Isle and Day care options around here, well just don't seem to be that great to say the least. I just moved here about a year ago and before is I ran my own daycare out of my home in Moncton, NB I just can't seem to find anything that even comes close to the daycare system there. I am actually thinking of starting my own Childcare program here. Is there any Parents out there that have any commites, concerns, request, or need for such a thing, What would you be looking for, hours, fees, requirements, needs...... Would you prefer in home or a center, I know for sure we need a center or a home that is handicap acceable. I just thought I would check to see if there is a need or am I just fussy

Hi Gina, I thought id offer some feedback on your questions. I have been through sooo many sitters in the past 2 years its unreal. I prefer someone that is good with kids, likes kids, is there whent they are babysitting and not out playing bingo when they are supposed to be sitting, and doesnt hollar, swear, belittle etc. Someone that is licensed preferably, knows CPR, First aid. Someone that can keep the kids busy with scheduled activitites so they dont get bored. Someone that is open minded with experience to disabilities, learning or physical....As far as pricing a system that has fro fulltime, parttime. and halftime, that doesnt charge when the kid is not there..and someoen that doesnt expect me to pay for their vacation when the kids arent there and i have to find someone else to babysit. Why should i have to pay for 2 sitters??? Oh also have other people to help out that have exeprience as well. I hope that helps out. Erika
