Giving it another try!!

Hi Everyone! I know its been forever since I posted last. I did update my profile though...I just wanted to let you all know that i am gonna start the process again. I am at my all time highest now and IM SOOO uncomfortable and plain old exhausted lately from all this extra weight. I don;t know my exact weight right now. Im thinking someplace in the 360lbs. range. I go see a new family dr. (my preferance) today and will ask her about a referral. I decided that when i have surgery it will be up here(Presque Isle) with Dr. Jimenez. Its a new year and im sooo ready to start over again Talk to you all later and I will update more often I PROMISE!! Erika

Hi It's me again. I just got home from my Dr.'s appt. My weight is at 366lbs. I had weighed myself on my scale but i dont trust so that is why i wanted to find out what the Dr. scale said. She gave me my referral to the local gastric bypass Dr. My appt is Feb. 7, Im excited about this I have been wanting it for soo long now. Now i start to train myself not to eat everythign in sight again. To choose the right foods to eat etc. Cya all later. Erika

Congratulations Erika, I know this is a really tough decision, but I believe, the right decision! I fought this, until my doctor told me that I probably had less than 10 years left to live. I waited until my health was severely compromised, I thought I could do this on my own. The reality was that I needed help, and I needed it real soon. I have never regretted my decision, and I don't believe that many of us have! It will change your life, and the way you look at things. I am so excited for you! Sending you congratulatory hugs!
