how long do i need to take off from work

I am a direct support profesional and was wondering how long would i need to take off from work

I hate to say this, might make me sound stupid, but I am not sure what a direct support profesional is. But I would think since you will have OPEN Rny you will need 6 weeks off. I know I needed that much time off and I was not even working at the time. Dr Clough can tell you, he gives good directions on after care. Good luck! Theresa

I went back to school full-time 10 days after surgery (open) and back to working part-time after 5 weeks. It will really depend on how you feel, your health in general.
