nervous pre admit testing

i have my pre admission testings on wed and thursday this week wed is my xrays thurs meet with the ansthesistolgist... it is starting to actullay hit me that it is gonna happen so im getting more nervous

Debby, I promise you, nothing in the pre-admission testing hurts. Gallbladder ultrasound, blood draws for labs, meeting with the anesthesia, X-ray, heart monitoring (EEG/EKG....I can't remember which), and pulmonary (which is just a breathing test)...that's it. But remember...as happened with me, there may be setbacks.....prepare in your head for those because I didn't and I am devestated today to know that I am now looking at February being the earliest that I could have surgery. I can't stop obsessing about the fact that I am not having surgery tomorrow as was planned. I'm pissed off, and sad, and disappointed, but after all that, I am still not having surgery any time soon. So I need to try to turn my attitude around and use the time to do what I need to focus on.....I hope you can try to turn your nervousness into something more positive for yourself....it will help you focus on what is coming up.
