Hi there, me again lol... I live in Lewiston maine, and i am looking for a new PCP doctor the one I have she is Nice and all but shes just not helping me at all, I know there is a year to a year and a half waiting list to see the surgeon, and thats bad enough but she doesnt even want to give me the referral and I know I need this change in my life, my bmi is over 40 so shouldnt be a problem i have a apt set with a lady for my diet, and I am trying to get a hold on Jill younge in auburn maybe i can get in a little faster, .. So if you guys know of any PCP that are good, please let me know, so i can see if Medicare covers them, thats who i have at the moment thanks again, maybe i can actually meet new friends that are in my boat that would be nice, and i am going to go to the surport meeting on the 6th of dec I think that would be a wonderful start thanks in advance, u can email me urself if u like [email protected] thanks again heather

I have a super supportive PCP that is VERY knowledgable in WLS. But she is in Winthrop. If you do not find one closer to you let me know and I will give you her info. She is excellent!

I see Dr. Seth Gordon through St. Mary's. He referred my husband and I both to Dr. D'Augustine. I'm not sure if he is taking new patients, but you could give it a try. He has been overweight before and lost weight on his own, though he understands how difficult it is. He is very thorough and I was seeing him for about a year before I decided to check out the surgery, and he was supportive right from the beginning. Good luck. Tracie
