blood in poop???

hello im 5 mths out of surgery and just had some blood in my poop has anyone else had this??? thanks

Hi there, I have not had surgery yet but I have experienced blood in my stools. This is not something you should ignore! I ended up having a rectal abcess which then followed up to a fistula which required surgery. There are many other reasons why blood can be in your stool. However, it is important to determine the cause before things get worse. Better to be checked and told no problem than to let things go and have something more serious. Good luck and keep us posted.
