Dr. Clough's patients...

Did you have to go in for preop lab work? My surgery is scheduled for November 4th and I'm a bit curious if there is something between now and then I have to do. I haven't seen the doctor since July and last thing he said to me was see you on the day of surgery. I've called his office with questions a couple times but I keep forgeting to ask about the preadmission testing. I had lab work in July which said I have a vitamin D deficiency and I've been taking a prescription for that. I guess I'm just getting the preop jitters.

Hi Jennifer, Dr. Clough did my surgery on 9/23. The office called me a few days before and had me go in for labs, gall bladder ultrasound and EKG. I'm sure if you called the office, they would fill you in. I was able to go to my local hospital for the testing. Good luck with your surgery. I think Dr. Clough does excellent work. Pam

Since I love almost 2 hours from the hospital they sent me the lab work and my PCP had it taken care of, but I did meet with Dr Clough 2 weeks before surgery for pre-op. It would have been the week before but I was on vacation. The morning of surgery they took more blood, weighed and measured me. Good luck!!! Theresa 235/goal was 140/now 135/would like 130
