Approved and scheduled

Hi everyone, I found out yesterday that my surgery was approved by Cigna and I'm scheduled for Sept. 23. I've taken my time (2 yrs.) researching, thinking and getting involved in the program and now I'm ready! This website has really helped and I want to thank all of you who contribute. I've learned from you all and have been truly inspired by your experiences. I can't wait to join you on the other side. Pam

Congrats on your approval from Cigna. I too have Cigna and am seeing a dietician. I probably won't even get an appointment to see my surgeon for at least a year! Long waiting list! However, like you, I plan to spend much time researching and attending support meetings as well as try to loose some weight. I recently came across some health issues that I will address in the meantime. Good luck to you! Keep us posted on your progress! Lisa
