New Brunswick Support Group

NEW SUPPORT GROUP - MID COAST HOSPITAL There is currently no bariatric support group in the Bath / Brunswick / Topsham area. To fulfill this community need, Mid Coast Hospital has agreed to provide space and support for a new group to begin. The first meeting will be held at Mid Coast Hospital (Conference Room 1) in Brunswick on September 1. (Driving directions at midcoasthealth.com.) The group plans to meet the first Wednesday of each month from 7-9. This will be a great opportunity for you to meet with other AMOS members and also for some face-to-face time with an ASBS affiliate member surgeon who can answer all your after-care questions. As the group is building membership, plans are to link into the monthly University of Pittsburgh obesity surgery support group webcast and then to continue on with questions and agenda items as the group dictates.
