13 days til surgery

Hey everyone. I am new to this site, and I am in need of a little support. I will be having my surgery July 13th with Dr. Clough I am so scared. But I know that this is something that I need and want to do...I am 27, live between Bangor and Ellsworth, Love the outdoors camping fishing swimming, I am a published poet. Married, love children but havent been blessed wth any yet....I am looking for sucess storys and stories that involved complications....But most of all prayers....Thanks Stacey

Hi Stacey, Welcome to a fantastic site. The people here are very supportive and very will to give their support to all. The feelings you have are VERY normal. We have all gone through the gammet of emotions that you are experiencing. You can check my profile, it will tell you of the complications. Hi Stacey! For support, you've come to the right place! I am having my surgery on the 13th as well, so we can be "losers" together. I am having my surgery with Dr. D'Augustine at CMMC. I am so anxious, I can't stand it! I, too, love the outdoors. I am married and have 2 boys. We go camping, swimming, and LOVE amusement parks! My grandmother wanted me to have a new robe for my hospital stay, so I went and got one yesterday. It was my LAST 2X EVER!!! Please keep in touch with me.
