Approved for pannic!!!

I just had to post tonight...I know that I will get some wonderful positive feedback here! I recieved notice today that my insurance will pay for my panniculectomy! It has been scheduled for Aug 3rd in Waterville. I can't begin to say how excited I am. I have lost a total of 145 lbs and this is the final chapter in my WLS story. It has been an amazing journey! No longer will I feel like I have a small child laying beside me when I am laying on my side! That is the only way I can describe it to people who don't "get it"! Thanks for listening to me ramble!!! Congratulations Missy on your approval! It must very exciting for you. Someday I hope to have the excess removed, but, until I finish & graduate from college, that step will be put on hold. I don't mind the wait after all the only one that sees it (besides me) is my hubby or the doctor. Again, Congratulations! Hugs, Cindy K.

YEAH!!! Congratulations, I am so happy for you!!!! Who is the surgeon you are going to use, my PCP gave me the name of someone in Waterville, I think his name starts with a S. Theresa...The doctors name is Schassberger. He seems VERY nice. I have a friend who had him do her pannic and she has almost no scar at all! I am so excited about it and will be willing to share my experience with you when it is all over and done with. Cindy I do agree with you...no one else sees the hanging skin, but it sure will be nice when I don't have to see it anymore! Have a fun and safe holiday weekend everyone!! Missy
