Kent & Casey--THANKS--BDN Article

Congrats to Kent and Casey for sharing their stories in such a public way. Great articles and very informative and honest. Wow, not sure if I would have enough courage to appear in the paper at my "best" in the hospital--Kent--you have a lot of guts(well--they will disappear soon!!__haha). And, Casey as always inspirational! Thanks to both of you for offering yourselfs up so that others can learn.Kent--hope you are feeling much better!!! Hope to see both of you July 2nd. Jane

I also would like to thank Kent and Casey for their willingness in sharing their experiences for others to learn from. The newspaper insert was excellent. More people have commented on this piece. I think the education is they key for more people to understand what WLS is. Since having surgery, I have been approached by many individuals that are interested in possibly pursuing WLS. Jane and Nancy, Thanks so much. I was a little nervous when we started, but Meg Haskell is a wonderful person and a former nurse. She made me feel totally comfortable to share information with her. I was filled with confidence that she would write a balanced article. Linda (the photographer) was also great and a lot of fun. She fell in love with Annie, my cat. I'm having a wonderful life,and it's getting better (and lighter!) every day! 94 pounds now. See you at the meeting! Kent
