Has anyone had Dr. O'Connor???????
Hi Karen,
Dr Clough did my surgery last March 4th. While he was on vacation over Memorial Day, Dr O'Conner performed an emergency surgery for me to repair a post-surgical complication. She is an excellent surgeon and a wonderful, compassionate person.
Although she may not have the years of experience doing the bypass, her skills in the operating room are supported by my experience with her and the respect she has from the entire nursing staff on Merrrit 3.
Dr. O'Connor was a nurse prior to becomming a surgeon. I think you will immediately feel comfortable and confident in her once you meet her.
Best wishes!
Kent
Hi Kent,
Thank you for getting back to me. I had done research on the surgeons when I was in Emmc for my clinicals. I am an EMT. All the nurses have great respect for Dr. O'Connor. My concern was that I couldn't find anyone who had surgery with her, on the site. I only saw the posting for someone who was denied by Dr. O'Connor as not being an ideal patient. What's Ideal and what is she expecting from her patients. I did talk to Kathie. She got back to me last night and reassured me that if Lynn felt that I was "golden" then I should be fine. I will post this afternoon when I get back from seeing her and let you know how I made out.
Thanks again,
Karen
