OMG ~ I'm Pregnant!!!!

OMG ~ after not being able to get pregnant for 10 years and having several doctors tell me that my chances of ever getting pregnant again were slim to none..........I'm now 7 weeks pregnant!! I guess I proved them wrong!! My son and hubby are tickled pink and so am I!! My son is 10 and has begged me for a sibling for years!! This is truly a blessing from above!!! I just had my first ob-gyn appt. and my doctor said I was in great health and that she didn't forsee any problems that would arise in my pregnancy. She has had experience with wls patients who became pregnant. I feel so blessed with this little miracle. Please keep me and my little one-to-be in your prayers!!! Hey! Congratulations! That is wonderful news... and great to have a ob/gyn to have experience with wls patients. I'm sure you're in good hands. Do you think losing the weight had anything to do with your pregnancy? I've heard that excess weight can affect fertility... and mess up hormones as well. -Heidi

I am so happy for you!!! Being a mom is one of the best things I have ever done, one of the things that makes me soooooo happy. (ok some days I feel like tearing my hair out, but you know what i mean) My 2 older children were 8 and 10 years older then their twin sisters, it was so cool going through it all with them and they really feel such a bond with them it is amazing. I am so happy for your son, he is going to be in for a treat. And since there is just him, he wont feel left out because he will get to strut around being the big brother. So cool!!!!
