surgery up-date

Well, I made it through surgery one more time. I was operated on last Tuesday and had a complete hysterectomy, hernia repair, appendix removed and had a tummy tuck. I'm not going to tell you which of them hurt more because for the first days following surgery I was in so much pain I insisted they put everything back in. I was excited about the tummy tuck though, and I'm so glad I had it done. The doctor took out 6 inches of skin and fat from the abdomen. He even made a new navel for me. (Now that's a sight for sore eyes). I'm off from work for 8 weeks so I'm going to sit back and try to heal. In the past I haven't been too successful at sitting that and that is why I've had to have two hernia repair surgeries. Doctor said to calm down and follow his instructions this time and I'm dedicated to doing that. Wish me luck..... Lulu
