I'm a bad girl...

I am so bad about updating/posting lately. SORRY! Just wanted to let you guys know that weird things happened today... This morning Meg Haskell from the BDN interviewed me for a piece she is doing on the surgery (Kent is the main attraction). They're going to get an after pic of me and use my awful before picture. Then shortly after she left I got a call from EMMC asking for pictures and a testimonial for them to put up on their website. So I need to put that together for them soon. I am excited about it, just hope I don't sound like a idiot... So anyway, whenever our silly son gets up from his nap we can go out and enjoy this BEAUTIFUL day!! Other than that not much is going on here. I am a little nervous about decorating for the 50th Wedding Anniversary Party for my grandparents Saturday...and wearing a dress...ick. ALSO...I DO NOT look forward to finding a swim suit this year. Especially after seeing the "after PS photos" Dr. McGill showed at the last Friday meeting! I think I'll just get a scuba-diving suit. That should hold everything together nicely AND I can stuff with tissues without the worry of water deflating me! Hope all is well with you guys! Anyone planning to hit the Friday meeting for June? June 12th is my 1 year anniversary! Whoo hoo! Casey

Great Post Casey! Don't worry about a bathing suit. I found 2 that I liked, both are 2 pieces (can't believe that I did get them). They are both tank tops, with skirted bottoms, to hide the thighs flapping in the wind & the tops cover that ucky tummy area. I'll see you at the June 12th meeting, it is close enough to my 1 year anniversary also. Hugs, Cindy K.

Hiya Cindy, Sounds like you had a good time shopping for a suit. I don't know where to go. I think I might get a one piece with a wrap thingy. But yours sounds great too. I'm so short though that the skirted types look like dresses...don't we just love genetics?? Anyway, thanks for the reply. I'll plan to make the Fri and Wed groups next month. It'll be fun to go on my 1 year anniversary. Plus the article for the BDN is supposed to be printed that day. I hope today is as beautiful as yesterday was!! Casey

I found a suit that had a skirt on it, was hard to find one in a size 12. The skirt is just long enough to make me feel ok about wearing a suit but short enough that I do not feel like I am in a tent. With you being so much smaller it most likely will be impossible to find one with a skirt. I say go for the wrap, you are most likely the only one that notices your tummy! (we are all so critical of ourselves ) You are such a busy lady, I do not know how you do it all! I saw you interviewed before, you are a natural!!!! As for the website, you have a way with words, you will do fine. You really do sell yourself short lady! Have a great day! Theresa
