More surgery!

For the third time in a year and a half I'm going back into the hospital for more surgery. This time it's for another hernia repair and a hysterectomy, and finally a tummy tuck. I'm going in Tuesday morning and I'm very ancious to be back home and have it over with. I don't have the enthusiasm that I had the first time I went in for my bypass. That was exciting because I knew that I would be starting a new life, but the hernia operation in December and this time around is not as exciting.... Wish me luck.....Lulu

Hi Lulu: Good luck tomorrow. As you can see, tomorrow is my day also - having surgery at 10:30. I have had a hysterectomy about 2 years ago and it went very well. Hardly any pain at all. And they did not do it laproscopically but opened me right up! So good luck with it. Why do you get hernias? Is it from the bypass surgery? Did you have the bypass lap or open? Will be thinking of you!

Lulu, I wish you the best with your surgery. Who is doing it? I was talking to my hubby today about a tummy tuck and boob lift. He is TOTALLY against that kind of surgery.. It won't be any time soon, but when the time actually comes, I don't think it is going to blow over very easy with him. Anyhow, will be praying for you and for a speedy recovery!! Kell
