Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Christie. I am a Stay at home mom of one 3yr old son. I have a wonderful, loving and supportive husband. Recently, I went to my PCP only to find out that I may be infertile, and most likely the cause is my obesity. I am only 25 and was pretty sad to hear this. I have been researching WLS for about a year now and at the recent suggestion of my PCP, I have decided that it may be the right choice for me. As of right now, I am young and not having any health problems related to my weight but further on down the road, I expect I will. I have a three year old and I want to live a long life with him. I will be going to some meetings in the next couple weeks as I begin this journey to a new, healthier me. I have read and learned so much from this site and look forward to getting to know all of you. Thanks & Have a great day, Christie

Welcome, and get ready for the ride of your life. If you chose this way, it will be a blast! There is no going back, no stretching the stomach to normal size. They could back a few years ago, but Dr. Clough makes it so it won't stretch. Now is the time to do it to save your future from sickness and other weight related problems. You'll never be sorry. Come to all the support group meetings as each one is different. Love & hugs Ron

Welcome aboard Christie! You are going to be absolutely amazed at what your life will become! I'm no longer a stay at home mom, but a full time student. My youngest is 16...he may or may not make it 17 (Actually he's a wonderful young man). I now have a real lap to set my grandchildren on. And I can actually keep up with the little boogers . If you see one of us at the meetings, stop us & say hello. This is a terrific group of people, & we are always there for support and a little extra hug, whether it's needed or not. Again, welcome to a new life! Cindy K.
