Sorry............
I almost feel like I abandoned you guys this week. I read every post but just didnt post to them. For this I am sorry. You all have given me so much and I always want to be here for you. Some days I guess we all turn into lurkers. Hard to believe I can keep my mouth(fingers) shut for days on end isnt it?
I am adding pictures to my profile, they should be on now but so far I have not seen them. Still trying to decide if I want to change the one on my post, so far I cant find one of my face that I like.
7 more days till Florida, as excited as I am it is a lot to tackel. As in, getting 6 of us ready, making sure the house will be fine, worrying about my cat not having attention for 7 days and feeling sort of guilty about leaving the twins with my mom. I know they will be fine but as a mom I think it is natural to feel bad about it. Getting their stuff ready in itself is a huge undertaking.
I loved going to the alumni banquet, it is always so cool getting together with Casey and Kelley, but this time John, Kelleys hub was there and he is a fun dude. (handsome too) I met Lulu and her hub, great people! It was great seeing Dr Clough out of the office and I got to chat a bit with him and Dr Toder. Lynn and Dayna were as sweet as ever. Seeing Ron and Kent was a special treat, do not think I have ever seen them in the same room at the same time. Was wondering if they were trickin me.
Jill, this is for you! You better have gotten a wicked good deal on that camper or I will be sorely upset you missed the alumni thingy!!! BTW, Great pic, im glad to finally see your beautiful picture on this message board. You are a sweety and should not be so shy.
Luv to you all!
Theresa
Awe Theresa,
We know you have a life. Those kiddies need you and I bet you are trying to spend time with the babies before Florida. You must be running in circles getting ready. I remember when I moved to Florida. John went before us in Feb 2001. and me and the kids went in June of that year. Me and the three kids stayed at my moms apartment until we moved. What a pain that was. It took a good month to get ready to go!! I flew down by myself in May to sign papers on the house and stuff. Florida is a great place to vacation, but I didn't care for raising my kids there.
Yeah, the alumni was great... I like to think my hubby is handsome too. Glad you didn't see him BEFORE the haircut.. lol
Theresa,
If it makes you feel any better I got an awesome deal on a new camper--they are actually giving me $500 more for my trade in than what I paid for it when I bought it new--and the funny part is that I bought my first camper from the same people and they know what I paid for it when I bought it. I am bummed I missed the Alumni thing, I was really looking forward to going.
Your new pictures on your profile page are really good. I especially love the first one with your son making the funny face.
I hope you have a wonderful time in Florida--send some warm weather and sunshine this way!
Jill
