Hi, Been a while since I've posted, it's been really hectic! This Wednesday is my 2nd consult with Dr. Cobean's office. I was wondering if anyone else that has had Dr. Cobean/Dr. Wolff could tell me approx how long of a wait from the 2nd consult to the surgery date was? I've had an ultrasound of my gall bladder and went thru a sleep clinic to see if I have sleep apnea (I do, but it's very mild and probably will NOT need to use a C-Pap!)

Hi Julie - I had my first appointment 1/14 with Dr. Cobean, then had to have an ultrasound test and see a pulmonary doctor in February. After those appointments I had to attend a support meeting. Then I got to see Dr. Cobean again March 14. About a week after that I got my surgery date - May 17th. Hope this helps you.

I am 1 week post op. It has been 2 years since I started the process. I had my gall bladder checked the first of Februarythis year. So it was about 2 months before I actually had the operation. Hope this helps. Norm

Hi Julie, So glad you had your second appointment! I thinkd that they have surgeries scheduled into June. But you should get a date within two weeks. If you are wondering you can always call Kyra at Casco Bay Surgery. She does the scheduling for Dr. Wolff. Is that who you have? Hope you are well. Aggie
