I'm home and finally on the other side
I got home last night and I can't tell how good it was to see my children. I am also very blessed to have the husband that I have because without him I don't know how I would have been able to go through with this. I would also like to give a very big THANK YOU and an even bigger HUGS and KISSES to Louise C for taking the time to come and visit me. It was so nice to finally meet her.
I'm am feeling quite well 4 days after the surgery. Aside from incisional pain, I can honestly say that nothing else is wrong. My surgeon was great as well as the rest of the O.R. staff. I would definitely recommend Dr. Toder to anyone looking to have this surgery done. The first couple of days the nursing staff was great but then I didn't see too many come around. I am anxious to see the results at my two week post op appt. I am not going to weigh myself everyday as I'm sure that could get discouraging. Instead I will weigh myself every other week. I'll keep you guys posted as to any successes or complications that I may have.
Have fun at the reunion on Saturday. Spoke with Dr. Toder and she said that they were expecting approx. 70 but that so far it looks like it's going to be more like >300 people who will be attending. Hopefully, if they have one next year, I will get to me each and every one of you. Have fun

Sharon,
So happy to hear you are fairing well! I knew you would be fine! On to the weight loss and happier days, you're going to love the things that happen in the next year. It's a great ride.
I look forward to talking with you in the future.
Casey
Also, I was surprised to see they would expect any less than a ton Saturday! With all the people doing this it's one big happy family!
