Hi Gang

Hello everyone I am in the beginning stages of this process. I have my educational and suppost meeting at EMMC on May 12th. This is so exciting to find people close to home that have both gone through this and some that are just starting out like me. I think it was Kell that told me about the meeting at TAMC. I hope to meet some of you there. I have joined the Yahoo group "SmartBanders" and they have provided me with some very good research information. Hi there, Good luck on your class. I enjoyed the class and I liek thte support group meetings when i get a chance to go(not often enough) The class was very informative. The support group is just excellent. I love hearing everyones stories.. I can't wait to be sitting around the table sharing my own story(someday) Take Care! Erika

Hi Robin I am a neighbor of yours from Presque Isle. I have jumped though the several hoops that are required to by the process (eductional meeting, support group, physical therapist, Psychologist, nutritionist, dietician and surgeon) Did I miss any? I am now awaiting approval (or denial) from my insurance company. Wish me luck!! It's wonderful to find out about people from Aroostook County that are going through this process. There is a support group through TAMC but it is scheduled at 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon. I work til 5:00 p.m. Maybe I can make arrangements to attend a few. I wish you luck and just know that there are many of us in the same situation . Hopefully we can meet with others from Aroostook. Nancy
