Who is over one year out. . .
I'd love to hear from you if you're over one year out. I had my surgery on November 26, 2002 and have questions that I'd love to ask about maintaining the weight loss. Losing was way more fun than maintaining my goal weight. I often reach for things that are not good for me, like candy. I've maintained my 135lb weight loss, but I'm so scared to gain weight. I do exercise everyday and enjoy my new size, but gaining is something that is always on my mind. Would love to have some feedback. Lulu
Lulu,
I am anly 3 months out and can't help you out with your question, but wow what a small world we live in.. My niece (who works at Burrelle's) came here today and said a co-worker of hers was asking about me. (She knew about me because my niece told her about the surgery when I had it done) she asked if her Aunt was Kelley, when my niece told her yes, she said my mom talked to her on the internet!!!!! Isn't the internet the best thing in the world!!?? I love it. Will your daughter be at the reunion with you on Sat? I absolutely can't wait!!
I am 33 months out..maintaining weight is a struggle.. I had gained 12-13 lbs over the past year..I took a hard look at what I was doing..and cut the sugar and tried to go back to the basics..protein first..etc..and lost 3 lbs in a week..I also am trying to increase my activity level..
It is a struggle and it gets harder as time goes on..just gotta get up everyday and do the best ya can..
I to had been looking for someone who was more than a year out to talk to..its a different ball game after the honeymoon period..
Take care..
