Invite to WLS Reunion

Hey folks: Did y'all receive your invites to the reunion on April 10th? I think its great that the Weight Loss Program is doing this for former patients. Hope to see all of you there. More details in the invitation. Jane

Hi Jane, I haven't yet recieved mine, but I was going to post on here when I did, you beat me to it, lol. Important to mention that this is for Bangor patients... I can also say that they are trying to invite everyone who has HAD surgery, whether recent or years and years ago. So if there is someone anyone knows a person who did not get the invite who had surgery in Bangor they are welcome to come! Lynn is calling us post op's "Gastric Bypass Alumni", lol. I look forward to going to the party and seeing some of you great people there who have been through what I would consider the best program in the state (of course I am biased, lol). See you there! I sure hope I can go, but I hate asking mom to watch the kids again. She is going to have grandmother burn out. Ok, I am sure I will be there, she wont say no. I am to sweet to say no to, I am SURE you ALL will agree with that. Theresa PS. Of course I should say I have not gotten the invite yet but I'll keep my fingers crossed that it will come today.

I received mine yesterday. I plan on sending it back today. I was surprised, because I thought it was just going to be for farther out post ops. Like a year or more out. Heather

Hello, I received my invite in today's mail. It will be sent out tomorrow, just need to make sure my hubby will behome to attend or if I take my mom with me. Either way, I'll be there . I can't wait to see everyone there. It will be different than at support Group meetings . Hugs, Cindy

I also got mine and am sending it back tomorrow morning. I can't wait to go!!!!!!!!!! Hubby said he would come. Good thing I was using my walker. It helped me from falling over!!!! Kell

Yup, got mine on Wednesday and it's in the mail. Will there be any foods there? I'm not sure if I'll bring anyone. Raymond Dunphey got his and will be bringing his 21 year old son Chris.

Hi Ron, I haven't heard if there will be food or not. Usually there is cheese, fruits, etc at these types of events. But, just in case, i always carry cheese, or some other small item of protein (peanut butter sticks are great), just to have on me. Can't wait to see you again, haven't seen you since b4 you had the surgery. Hugs, Cindy
