lap band support group in ME?

Hi all, I just completed my consult today with Dr. Shah at Lahey clinic in MA. Everything went very well. I do need to attend 2 Support group meetings before surgery and I would like to have these done by the time I go back to the nutritionist for a check up and final approval for Lapband they have this at Lahey and I can make the one at the end of this month but can't next month, we can go to other support groups if we need to. Anyone know of any? and the Times? thank you. Michelle J.

There is a lapband support group in Augusta on Weds nights 6-7:30pm at the Maine General Medical Center Conference room 5. The facilitator is Diane Howard. YOu can go to the website www.mainebariatric.com for more info. Cindy

Hi Michelle, EMMC also does the lapband. Their meetings are held the first Friday of the month 4-6pm, the second Wednesday 5-7pm and third Saturday 1-3pm. Casey
