WooHoo!!

Went to my 1st support group meeting last night. It was awesome! Lots of great people with lots of great information. I was even able to put a few faces together with some of the names on message board! I really enjoyed it and felt very comfortable there.... Then...... today was my 1st appointment! Met with the dietician, soc. worker & surgeon. They were all very nice and I really felt good about Dr. Wolff! Next...... I go for an ultrasound of my gall bladder on the 24th and they are also scheduling an appt with a pulmonary doc to rule out any sleep apnea. Can't wait to get a date for my next appt!

Julie - Did you go to the meeting in Scarborough? I was there too and it was my first meeting also. I have already had my first appointment with the surgeon and his team, had an ultrasound and also have already seen a pulmonary doctor. I am now waiting for my second appointment. Yes it was the Scarborough meeting! I was sitting very close to where Betty, Dr. Wolff and Barbara was.... How long did you have to wait for a pulmonary appt?
