:( Sent Home Till Next Monday

hey all went to the hospital for my surgery today and was sent home after being there three hours. the poor woman before me was having some complications and her surgery took seven hours. dr. cobean came out and said listen i would hat to do this to you but all my staff leaves in an hour and we would be relieing on on call people and i would rather have my own staff. I would feel more comfortable if we delay a week and i will get you in first thing on monday so you do not get delayed again. I said your the doc it is your call he said i was expecting to come in here and you were going to freak out i said i am not nervous or anything and you are doing what is in my best interest for a good surgery. I was certain before surgery but today i was confirmed i made the right choice with this surgeon!! And this way i can go to the support group tomorrow YEAH and talk to you awesome people for another week. love ya all haha melissa p.s. I am not sure who the lady was in surgery but she came through just fine great prayers coming her way

Wow Melissa, You do have a great attitude. I am sorry you did not get your surgery but I think you made the correct choice also. Your surgeon does sound completely wonderful!!! It must make you feel so great to know how caring he is. Less then a week now for you!!!! Theresa

Wow, you do have a wonderful attitude despite the disappointment I am sure you are feeling. I am a person that believes that everything happens for a reason, so I would have done the same thing today. Your day will be here before you know it!! Jill
