Gotta cold

Today has been 3 weeks since my operation. I have a cold, yuk! Thank GOD if I had to have a cold, it's this week and not the first first or second. First few coughs are Okay but then it starts to hurt. Someone wanna kiss my tummy? Don't you feel sorry for me, boo hoo. I hear of so many that are having REAL problems with their operation and certain foods they can't keep down. Galen told of his friend that didn't live through the operation. We are all so blessed to make it. This is a major lifestyle change to our bodies and mind. We don't fully comprehend it all till we are living through and with the changes. I was talking to a hospital worker from Machias that said he knows of 4 who have had the operation in the past 4 months. One lost a lot of weight but when she could eat what she wanted went back to her old ways and gained it all back and then some. Hope and pray all is well with you folks. I see that WABI Channel 5 is running a special on this operation,both the good and bad. I have yet to catch a segment and the time that it is aired. Does anyone know what time they are airing this? Hi Ron, sorry to hear that you have a cold. My daughter has one too. I will give you both tummy kisses!! I am so scared about the complicatioins....especially the ultimate one (death.) I just don't see how dying on the table could be any worse then me dying in front of my daughter in 5 years of a heart attack. I hope you are feeling well otherwise. Thank you girls for your support and tummy kisses. I saw last night that the show on WABI was supposed to be at 6 pm but somehow I missed it. They did show a segment on excersize and using a pedometer to calculate steps equals miles or something. The goal being 10,000 steps a day. With this stupid cold I get in at least 200 coughs a day. At least this morning my sinuses are clear, so far. I'm drinking lots of fluids. No I have never been to Machias. The guy I know buys fishing flies from me. Thanks Love & Hugs Ron

Ron, Sorry you have a cold. Does it hurt to cough? My belly felt weird for a long time. Glad that's behind me! Casey PS Machias is WONDERFUL. We are going to move there and build a house once Dusty is done with school....can't wait!!!
