Rambling.....
I am 5 1/2 months post op and down 88 pounds so far. Last year at this time, I took my first trip to Orlando to visit "the wonderful world of Disney". While I did have fun, I was very limited on what I could do while I was there due to my weight, and was uncomfortable most of the time. Being a rollercoaster lover, I was very discouraged when I went on a rollercoaster, could barely get the buckles fastened and then didn't go on another rollercoaster my whole trip--instead I stood and watched as the friends I was with rode quite a few of them. As a gift to myself, I am leaving tomorrow with friends to go on my second trip to Orlando, and this time I plan to ride every rollercoaster from Tampa to Daytona at least twice I don't care if I after each one, I am going on them!

PS--Theresa, sorry I missed you at Dayna's office on Monday, I was just getting in my car and you were walking in the door.
I am trying to plan a trip to WaltDisney, depending on our tax refund. I want to hear all about it!! I do not know where to start to plan it.
I was running late on Monday, all my fault. Wish I could blame it on DH, but afraid I can not. I wish I had met you!!!! We should all try to get together, families and all, for a picnic or something this summer. We have a seasonal campsite at a great campground but it is pretty far away for most of you. Maybe we could find a place in Bangor or something. I think it would be wonderful fun!!
Have fun and let us all know about your trip. Take pictures!!!
Be safe!
Theresa
Jill,
You are so lucky, and you will have a great time I know. I went to Disney in 2000, and was able to ride some rides, although uncomfortable. Last year we went to Myrtle Beach, and I couldn't ride any rides. I can't wait to get to a size that I can ride again. I am taking the girls to Disney next year or the year after, and plan on taking advantage. My youngest has no fear so she will be my riding buddy.
Have a great time
