7months postop 1st plateu
Hi everyone,
Well I did not want to say this because it would make it really true, BUT, looks like I am on my first platue. I should not complain since it is my first TRUE platue in 7 months. I am going to start back at Curves today, I have not been able to get in for quite a while. Today IS the day I get my butt back in gear and make the most of this tool. I have 20/25 lbs to go to get where I want to be and I KNOW I can do it. Please send me out warm postive thoughts or even give me a kick in the butt. I need any and all kinds of encouragement so I do not get to down about this.
Hope everyone has a great week!
Theresa
Ok, I'm going to kick you in the butt, because I can. You have come so far and this is just a bump in the road. Get back to Curves !! Anastasia asked me about you last night and said she hadnt seen you in so long. I told her you were sooo close to goal. Everyone there wants to see you. Make time for you and do this for yourself, you'll be glad you did. Heck maybe we'll run into each other and catch up after all these years. I probably wont recognize you. I know Ive said this before and I hope you'll never get tired of me saying it........I am so proud of you for this tremendous accomplishment you've made. You are truly an inspiration to everyone around you.
So get your a** back to Curves today !!!
Cindy
OK OK, I went today. And you can say it all you want, it makes me smile even if I do not necessarily believe it. It was fantastic to get back, I feel soooooooo good. Their scale puts me 2 lbs heavier then my scale and that of Dr Cloughs.
Staci said there were a couple women asking about WLS, I hope she directs them to me, I would love to be of help to them.
Gotta get back to work.
Can't wait to see you!!!
Theresa
Theresa,
I have to say that I think that you are such an inspiration and that you have done great... I read all over the message boards of people hitting plateus and it is so normal. 7 months and this is the first one shows how great you are doing.. alot people have had 2 or 3 by that time. Just up the water, protein and exercise. You are doing great.

Hey! Welcome to the club!!!! I still consider myself a newbie to this new life. What I've learned from you and others is that this process does take time, patience and those other pesky things---water, protein, exercise, vitamins. I attend the class Dayna provides for three month post op folks and she mentioned that at three months the weight loss slows down--what a bummer. Unless we move out butts (my words--not hers) in other words that gym stuff. I've been twice this week to the rehab center on Union Street and really like it a lot. So, my friend, give the always good advice you give to others to yourself and place yourself first somewhere on your list and do the things you know you need to need to get to that very close goal and you'll be there by summer--easily!!!!!!
Before you know it, you'll be posting that you are at goal!!!!!!
