I got out of the hospital today....
Hi Everyone,
I got out of the hospital this afternoon. I'm feeling pretty good other than the ride to my mom's just about killed me. I can see why I didn't ride all the way home to Danforth.
I'm finding it amazing that I never feel hungry. I am feeling really dry though, is that normal? I feel like I could drink a big glass of ice water down but I know that I can't. I've been eating alot of ice chips, I find that they quench the thirst a little better. Can anyone tell me where they bought the Carnation Instant Breakfast Sugar Free? I looked into the Walmart SuperCenter but they don't have it.
I just wanted to thank everyone for their support. I really appreciate it.

Kent,
Thanks for the information. I do my grocery shopping at a Hannaford store so I'll have to look. My mom also called Shaw's thing morning and they said that they also carried it. I'm hoping that I'll be lucky enough to find the vanilla because that what I really liked in the hospital.
Thanks Again,
Michelle
Congrats on coming home. It is amazing the feeling of not being hungry. I haven't had the dry feeling, but I am constantly sipping. The CIB instant breakfast I found at shop n save and shaws.. but only the chocolate. I liked the vanilla in the hospital, but can't find it anywhere.. so I am just doing regular protein shakes.
Take care

If you can't find it at a store you can order it from the Nestle site at the above link. I like the Dr. Phil vanilla shake that comes pre-mixed in a can and found it on sale at Rite Aid this week.
Congratulations and good luck!

Welcome home Michelle, I am so glad to hear you are doing well. You sound fantastic.
How long was the trip to your moms? I had almost 2 hours home and ran into a HUGE hail storm, and it was JULY!! Very scarey, made DH pull over till it stopped.
How long before you get to go home? More then a couple days and I bet you want to go home bad.
Great to see you posting, please keep use updated.
