Terri: I will be three months post op on Feb. 26--exactly and I've hit four plateaus! At -18 pounds, at -29 pounds and now I'm at -45 and just try to relax. However, I suspect if I hit the one you are on at -98, I too will be impatient. And yep, I think you are right on---more water, protein, exercise!!! That's what I was told and also that even after all this time--maybe your body is adjusting again and rebelling against the weight loss. be kind to yourself and take your own great advice! Jane

Terri-Congratulations on being down 98 pounds in less than a year I am jealous! I think as time progresses plateaus tend to come more frequently. My doctor had warned me about one happening around 8 months and he was right. I just went through over a month without losing hardly anything at all. I just read an interesting article talking abou****er intake. It said that the number one reason why we need to drink water is because it helps our liver process something (where did my mind go) and definitely helps us burn more calories. One thing I have noticed is that when I hit a platea, I continue to lose inches Keep the faith. Lynda ME/FL
