Splenda and Blended Foods?????
Hello everyone. I am trying to get prepared for March. I am an avid cook and I want to continue that after my surgery. I am also trying to find ways to get my husband to eat better. When I met him he was 120 lbs, a stiff wind blew the poor soul over. Now he has gained about 100 lbs and is on the cusp of being overweight. I my "new" start to influence my whole family so we can teach our daughter how to live healthy. Now, my question is, Has anyone BAKED with splenda. My husband does not want to give up his CC cookies, Ring Dings and such....I figured if I could at least cut out the sugar and replace it with Splenda maybe I could start switching him over to a healthier way of eating. Just curious how it works with baking stuff.
Also, can you give me a list of your most tolerated blended foods. I can't think of much other than blended carrots and sweet potatoes, blended chilli and cheese.

I have baked with splenda and it works very well. You do taste a little difference but the cookies are still really good. My husband really likes splenda he has switched to splenda for his coffee and he says the coffee tastes a lot better then it used to. The more items we find with splenda the more new thinks we try.
