Yikes!!!

Hi all...I'm feeling somewhat nervous about something and wanted to see what you guys thought about it... We got home from grocery shopping this morning and there was a message from Lynn B. asking if I would be interested in doing an interview with the channel 5 news about the surgery and if she could give them my name and number. So I called a friend to see if she thought I should do it, hubby said yes but I needed a second opinion. So I called Lynn back to say yes. She said she is giving the news 5 names...I don't know if that means they will interview all of us or just chose whichever people they want. It just seems weird cause I've never been on tv before even for a minute and I hope that they don't take what I say and skew it into being something I don't mean, ya know? Casey

I was recently interviewed by channel 5 and they are nothing but professional when they interview you. When I did my interview I asked ahead about what they were going to say and what they are looking for. It helped me to be more prepared. I think this is a great opportunity for the people who have had or who are considering weight loss surgery to be heard. You'll do a great job. The camera man says the camera takes any double chin and 10 lbs off.

Cindy, Thank you for the info. I'm sure they are professional however I am afraid I'll be a babbling idot, lol. I do think it is great they are putting the surgery on tv but I wonder how much of their showing will put a negative spin on it... We'll see soon, lol. Casey
