Support Groups in Maine

Can everyone that reads this board please list where they go to Support Groups. The times and days would be great also. Thanks! Theresa

I go to Dr. Cobean's support group in Scarborough. It is the first Tuesday of every month and it starts at 6:30 pm. I can't remember the name of the building but it is right by where you go for appts. Sam

Mason Auditorium the Surgical Weight Loss support groups are held: first Friday of each month 4-6 pm run by Lynn Bolduc second Wed each month 5-7 pm run by Dayna Emerson third Saturday each month 1-3 pm run by RoseMarie Danelle Casey

Dr. Cobean's Support group (MMC Bariatric Surgery Center) is @ Maine Medical Center Research Institute on 1 Research Drive in Scarborough it is two buildings down from the Bariatric Center @ 100 Campus Drive. I go in Biddeford(SMMC) , on the second Wednesday of every month (these are for pre-ops and post ops). Also they have weekly meeting Tues. and Thurs. I think,for post ops. These post op meetings are in Biddeford, but not at the hospital. Sorry I couldn't be more specific. Tracee R

Sorry, i forgot to put the time. My meetings (second Wed. of each month)are at 6:30.

I attend the lapband support group at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta, Room 5. Augusta Surgical Associates sponsors this group. Diane Howard is the facilitator. We meet every Weds from 6-7:30pm.
