Well, since I keep getting denials from CIGNA, I decided to get online and do a little research. I found this article, that I thought was quite interesting. http://magic-city-news.com/printer_684.shtml I am going to start writing letters to the Superintendent of Insurance and maybe someone will investigate CIGNA denying WLS. If anyone is having a problem with CIGNA or any of their insurance and want to vent, please feel free to email me @ [email protected].

Hi Samantha, What a frustrating and maddening experience for you! I think your plan to write a letter to the State Bureau of Insurance is a good one. Filing a formal complaint with them is an option in addition to writing a letter. You seem to have been "jerked around" a lot. You have my complete support and understanding. Don't give up. For others (from the article Samantha referenced): Consumers can reach the Bureau through its web site at http://www.maineinsurancereg.org; by calling 800-300-5000 in-state; or by writing to Bureau of Insurance, 34 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333. My first appeal is in process. Kent
