Well, I know that we have children around the same age, although you have twins (bless your heart, how do you do it??) How did you start potty training your kids. This is my first child and I could you all the advise I can get! Thanks Sam [email protected]

I will be completely truthful. My mom started my two older ones and pretty much did it all. She took them for a weekend and they came back staying dry during the day. My daughter was a tuffie. She was like 3.5, I had sent her to her room and she starts telling me she has to pee. She had JUST gone. I tell her to pee in her pants. Guess what she did? She told me with a smile later that she had peed. Just enough to see she had. She still has strong willpower, it amazes me. With the twins it got to the point where they would tell me right after they pooped, so I knew they knew. When we saw them pooping we would joke and say stuff like "pu**** out". So they got in the habit of not hiding when they were going. The last 2 days when I saw Sami "strike the pose" I would grab her and put her on the pot. She never would admit before today when she had to poop. And most the time even after she pooped she would tell me Sarah did it. Sarah usually doesn't mind taking the blame. So, I am sure this has not helped you one bit, but it has brought back some cool memories for me. I am so happy Sami went 2 days in a row, I am keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow. Thanks for the question. BTW, except for in the beginning the twins have been a breeze. They never run off, always stay with me, of course they are way more timid of people then the older two, but once they warm up they chat anyone up. Have a great night! Theresa

Oh, goodness, they sound sooooo cute!!!! My little on, Aristea, is very strong willed. Actually you did help me....I can always tell when she is pooping so I am going to start putting her on the potty as soon as I see her face turn red! Thanks! You must have so much engery for them now. I can't wait. Arie is my whole life and the thought that possibly by this summer I could be running and jumping and planting a garden with her in the yard, it brings tears to my eyes. I will find out tomorrow what the outcome is, if insurance has finally approved or not. I will let you know. Talk to you soon. Please feel free to email me anytime. Sam [email protected]
