Mainecare to cover surgery!!!!!!!!!!

According to Mary Cathcart a Democrat from Orono....Senate District 7. The governor is going to let Mainecare pay for Gastric Bypass. It will not be part of the new plan he has put together. WE get to be losers too!!

Ron, I feel the same way! I called Lynn Bolduc and have her checking things out to see if the Governor has told Mainecare the good news yet. I doubt Mainecare will acknowledge it for a couple of days. Michelle

I am happy he's covering the WLS surgeries but will he allow coverage of the extra skin removal also??? Helen

I am so happy to hear that it is good news i god knows most of us can not afford to pay for this surgery ahead so get it anyway you can is how i feel. The state is helping by letting people get surgery i am glad they finally relized that!!!! Melissa

Casey, Yes! Lynn called the head of Mainecare to verify the information I received and found out that it is in fact true that Mainecare is going to pay for the surgery.
