Aloe

Has anyone tried drinking aloe juice to help heal on the inside? Herbalife sells aloe juice and so did Walmart at one time. How about using aloe leaf juice on the outside wound?

I imagine it would probably be OK as long as you check the sugar content... I wouldn't put anything on your wound though. I was repeatedly instructed NOT to and aloe might not be sterile enough if you're grabbing a leaf off the plant and squeezing. I know when my scar was healing i was told no ointments, no alcohol, no peroxide, nothing. Just cover it loosely with telfa pads if it's oozy, and it will heal better on its own. Good Luck!

A friend of mine told me to use Aloe juice to heal my ulcer that I had and it worked wonders...I'm not too sure about healing anything else...I like the advice of checking with the dr...Helen
