Curves????

Hi Everyone....22 days till my surgery I am so syked!!! Anyway, the reason I am posting is, does anyone know how much Curves costs???? I am limited to my money and I am a little embarrassed to go for the tour and to find out I can't afford it. Thank You...Helen

When I joined Curves it was a grand opening so the sign up fee was $50 for the first 100. It goes up a little bit after that. The monthly fee varies. I pay $29 because I signed up for 1 year and let them take it out of my checking account. From what I understand if you do it month by month it is $39 a month. Hope this helps. Hi Helen, Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I would wait before signing up for curves. I signed up before surgery using the $29.00 out of my checking account every month plus a $88.00 reg fee. Well....my surgeon doesn't want me doing curves until at least 6 - 9 months out and even though I have sent them doctor's notes saying I cannot use the services and request for putting my membership on hold, they still have been taking out the $29.99 out of my account. I would stick to walking for a while after surgery then perhaps check out curves...it is a great program but you won't need it for a while! Sue

I joined Curves in Sept when it opened in my area. I pay $29.00 monthly directly out of my checking acct. After I had my surgery in Nov, I couldnt go to Curves for 4 weeks. When I did go back in Dec, they said if I had a doctors note saying I couldnt go for 4 weeks they wouldnt charge me for 1 month. I did get the note from Dr Morand. I thought that was great of them to do that. Hey they can afford the $29.00. I'd like to mention that I love the Curves program. I like the atmosphere, all women. I dress the way I want and dont feel like I'm being stared at all the time. If people are staring its because they are noticing my weight loss.

I think the Curves we go to is excellent Cindy. One is opening in Winthrop, are you going to change? Different people will own it. I might check it out but doubt I will switch.

I dont think I'm going to change to the Winthrop Curves. I like the one we go to now.
