my poor little nephew

They tried to put a pick in hmy nephew today, which is a long tearm IV and they couldn't do it. they shaved part of his head because that is where his best vains where and where going to put the pick on top of his head. They did give him some morphine before they started but my sister doesn't really think they waited long enough before they tried to put it in. As soon as they where done and she could hold him he fell right to sleep and slept for 3 hours. They now have to wait till monday to talk with a surgeon. I guess they might have to surgerly put the pick in. It doesn't sound good.

I talked to my sister this morning and one of the doctor's up there told her if he had been born 20 years ago and this had happened to him then he wouldn't of made it. The antibiodice wasn't around then. Thank goodness for modern medicine.
