Everyone must be busy getting their last minute holiday stuff done. I finished mine up yesterday. And leave it to me to put everything off.. UGH I dug stuff out of my closet that I've had tucked in there for months and wrapped until about 1 am...Soooooooooooo I think I am pretty well finished. I say every year, "next year I am going to wrap as I go".. well that never happens.. lol I am 13 days away from surgery. Got the e-mail from Eric Klein that everyone gets before surgery. I think it finally "CLICKED" and I seemed to get over the fear I have had for this past week or so, because now I'm feeling YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO lets get this show on the road!!!!!!!!!!! I've had the blues the past few days but now I am over all of that and ready to roll!! Bought me a new lounger to wear around the house for a day or two when I get home. Think I may go back to Wal-mart and get me a couple more. I do have a question.. it probably has never been an issue for anyone, but I have to wear shoes on my feet in order to walk. They are just regular Sketcher sneakers. (got a brand new pair that I am saving for the hospital. lol) I was wondering if they wont have a problem that I wear them. I know I won't be able to bend down and tie them, but what is DH for????? Anyone heard on Beverly??????????? Take Care... Kell

Hi Kelley, Wow 13 days...I was bull**** 13 days pre-op. I cried all the time, was soooo scared and couldn't wait for it to be over. You're doing better than me I bet! You'll do great. It's over in a flash, the pain meds help with that! Totally need nightgowns that you don't have to slip over your head at least I did, unless you'll have help. I had the hub here but I am stubborn in asking for help. Button ups or zippers are nice to have. As far as the sneaks I don't see a problem. Most people would wear slippers anyways so that should be fine, plus you have to so they can kiss it. lol I'm heading out early to get to the support group meeting and plan to see if I can visit Beverly. I hope I can. She is so sweet. I guess I should get some housework done since I'll be gone all afternoon...by the way...we are moving so I might not be on for a while...hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday, whichever way you choose to celebrate. We aren't doing the "usual" holidays anymore till we figure out what we are comfortable with. So in the meantime no wrapping for me, lol! Later, Casey
