Has anyone ever tried..........
I was wondering if any of you have ever tried Talapia and if so, how you cooked it?
Also, I like haddock, but have never made it and was wondering if any of you have any good recipes. I love to cook, however I am looking for something simple as I never seem to have much time by the time I get home from work.

My DH and I LOVE fresh fish and buy it often. I have found the easiest way to cook them is to season each side a little with your favorite plus salt and pepper, and to broil with a little olive oil to keep it moist. It only takes about 7-8 minutes at the most to broil it - it should flake easily with a fork when done. We like to have our fish served on a bed of spinach - green giant makes a frozen microwaveable spinach with low fat butter sauce that is to DIE for - spinach is so good for you too. You can also spray both sides with cooking spray and use a contact grill such as george foreman or whatever - I got a 6 patty size one from Walmart made by Sunbeam for $16.97 and i love it. You can also bake in the oven with milk to keep it moist, or in mushroom soup with a little water added. Don't overcook though. Tilapia is soo good. You can pan fry it too, but my DH and I don't like to eat a lot of fried food. As for cooking spray - I have found that crisco brand tastes pretty good and it doesn't "bake on" and turn into that brown varnish. All my cake pans etc stay clean with crisco cooking spray. And for flavor, you can't beat "I can't believe it's not butter" spray. I also use the real thing for a treat sometimes since I am not taking in nearly as much calories. My loss is still great even though I still use half and half and butter. Ain't nothing like the real thing, baby. Just less of it.
I love fish as well. I like to cook fish by putting it into a baking pan, covering it over with tin foil, cook on 350 for about 20 minutes. Then I throw some spaghetti sauce/tomato sauce over it with mozzerella cheese, cover with tin foil and bake again for about 10 minutes or until everything is melted. I have done this with all kinds of fish and it's great.
